Welcome!
Adventure is my passion! From adventures with learners to adventures in creativity, I am continuously on the lookout for ways to develop learning that is engaging and informative.
I have designed curriculum, managed large groups, coordinated group events, created job aides, analyzed learning data to enhance learner outcomes, and worked with businesses to tackle their problems with integration, activation, application, demonstration of engaging and precise instruction. I am especially good at breaking a large task into smaller “doable” and understandable chunks using learning theories to support my action plans. It has been stated that I have the vision of the learner and can produce learning that guides the learner along a steady path.
ELearning has become a passion of mine as it brings together my creative nature and my innovative designs for learner experiences. I enjoy outlining and building the lesson, to then see it come alive through the phases of course creation. My two favorite stages are analyze and the development. I like getting in the weeds of the why we need to create this course. I get lost in the development portion, as I challenge myself to be innovate in the creations I design for learners.
When I am not creating adventurous learning tools I can be found chasing sunsets with my husband and boxer. Adventures in the books include an NFL game in single digit temperatures, a motorcycle ride along the Queen Wilhelmina Scenic Drive; to share a couple.
